Come witness musical instruments being used in unconventional ways to make outlandish, spine-tingling sounds in George Crumb’s fascinating Eleven Echoes of Autumn and Michel Galante’s Flicker. Also on the program is Mendelssohn’s vibrant string quintet, Op. 87.
