The Lascivious Biddies, a female foursome, will blend jazz, pop, and cabaret at St. Margaret's House Senior residence in downtown Manhattan. The Biddies’ shows are full of wit, musicianship, and some sentimentality mixed in, and they have shared the stage with artists such as Elvis Costello, Natalie Merchant, Enya, and The Jazz Passengers.

Carnegie Hall Neighborhood Concerts are supported, in part, by The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation.

Meet the Artists

The Lascivious Biddies

·· Ila Cantor, Guitar and Vocals
·· Lee Ann Westover, Lead Vocals, Glockenspiel and Triangle
·· Saskia Lane, Double Bass and Vocals
Known for their fun twist on cocktail pop, The Lascivious Biddies have earned a reputation for having an energetic and tightly woven live show that sparkles with four-part harmonies, expert musicianship, and magnetic wit. The group’s unconventional arrangements of original compositions and standards-to-be blur the line between pop, jazz, and cabaret styles. The Biddies has brought its distinctive sound to many venerable institutions such as Joe’s Pub (New York), the Bluebird Cafe (Nashville), and the Kennedy Center (Washington, DC). The group consists of Lee Ann Westover, lead vocals; Deidre Rodman, piano and vocals; Saskia Lane, double bass and vocals; and Amanda Monaco, guitar and vocals.
