CARNEGIE HALL PRESENTS
Neighborhood Concert: Community Sing with Soweto Gospel Choir

Harlem Stage Gatehouse
Tuesday, November 18th, 2008 at 6:30 PM

Soweto Gospel Choir
Vy Higginsen, Host

The two time Grammy Award–winning Soweto Gospel Choir celebrates the unique and inspirational power of African music with audiences around the world. The 26-member ensemble, under the direction of David Mulovhedzi, draws upon the best talent from the many churches in and around the South African township of Soweto.

Come celebrate the music in you with your community! This is your opportunity to sing, exchange stories, and share food together with individual members of the internationally acclaimed Soweto Gospel Choir.

Carnegie Hall Neighborhood Concerts are supported, in part, by The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation.
