The dynamic father-daughter team of Claude and Pamela Frank will delve into the violin sonatas and piano trios of Beethoven and Schubert, exploring the vocal qualities in the music. With special attention paid to Beethoven’s Piano Trio, Op. 1, No. 2; and Piano and Violin Sonata, Op. 96, this workshop includes coaching sessions and two public master classes on December 10 and 11, culminating in two concerts in Weill Recital Hall on December 13 and 14. During the week, participants will also have a rare opportunity for vocal coachings on this repertoire with a renowned vocalist.
