Quartets Plus
Classics of the repertoire as well as new pieces, from Mozart to Kurtág, are all performed in the intimate setting of Weill Recital Hall. The acclaimed Ying siblings, who deliver “chamber music of astonishing, refreshing exaltation and exhilaration” (Los Angeles Times), and the Miró Quartet, whose program of Ives and Dvořák matches the group’s distinctly “American” sound with its “endless variety of tone and huge depth” (Strings Magazine), are joined on this series by the Keller Quartet from Hungary and the Ebène Quartet from France.
