Carnegie Hall Subscriptions - The Shape of Jazz
The Shape of Jazz

The Bill Charlap Trio, “one of the tightest trios in jazz” (Detroit Free Press), riffs on Bernstein classics. Jazz diva Dee Dee Bridgewater—who has worked with such giants as Sonny Rollins and Dizzy Gillespie and takes part in Carnegie Hall’s Honor! festival, curated by Jessye Norman—lends her soulful voice to The Shape of Jazz. And John Scofield, one of the “big three” guitarists of the current jazz scene (Korea Times), injects some dazzling fretwork into the proceedings. Presented in partnership with Absolutely Live Entertainment LLC, Danny Melnick, Artistic Director
