Three inspiring artists take center stage with works from two Old World masters—and from one distinctly American genius. Anne-Sophie Mutter, an “inventive and intelligent mind” (Gramophone), performs Bach’s most famous violin concertos, and André Previn leads The Philadelphia Orchestra from the piano as he performs Mozart. Jean-Yves Thibaudet presents a piano concerto by Gershwin, whom Ravel declared the “most brilliant, most enchanting, and perhaps the most profound talent” of his era.

Anne-Sophie Mutter, Lorin Maazel, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and André Previn
